    Yeah. :)

"Wow. That chocolate coin was amazing. Pass me another." Said no one, ever!
  • They are wonderful. Absolutely brilliant. Give a child a net bag with thirty small chocolate coins inside, and enjoy your hour of peace as their uncoordinated fingers and jagged nails scrape and pick at the foil rim with disproportionately small effect.

Over about sixteen months they eventually learn how to pick and fold back the foil in a matter of seconds. By then you should have had time to complete the maze. Just drop a handful of chocolate-coated raisins at the end.

The cynic in me suspects it's all a marketing ploy though...

Bang on, given the number of people on here who didn't know they made them, it might just have put it in their mind to buy some. Just wait for the 'We didn't realise how much everybody loved Cadburys Coins and have been overwhelmed by the response so we will continue to make them' ;)

Wouldn't surprise me if the hashtag was made up by the Cadburys social media team.

I didn't realise Cadbury made them until 2 years ago. I thought they were a product made by cheap chocolate manufacturers and supermarkets?

I'll still be able to get my mitts on some so I'm not fussed.

Yep, I didn't know Cadbury made them either, always got own brand or Thorntons.

I'm another one that didn't know that Cadbury made them, always just bought the cheapest.

No longer able to buy coins now made by Hershey or Kraft? How terrible! </sarcasm>

Standing by till. See chocolate coins. Buy chocolate coins. Can honestly say I've never given any thought to what brand they are. Don't really consider the quality of chocolate to be the point tbh

I seem to be in the minority here - I only ever buy Cadburys ones for the kids stockings. Although 'kids' are now 20 and 25, and to be honest, probably would have eaten any brand of chocolate. But to me Cadbury's was the tradition - so will be a shame if I can no longer get them!
  • Bought mine at Aldi's already for the stockings!!!
