You must have put your bank details in somewhere as the don't just guess your bank account information.

you need to look at the site that you did put your card details into. (loan brokers?) There is possibly something in the T&Cs that will state they will share your details with other lenders
If you have 100% not been looking for a loan anywhere then you need to contact your bank to report fraud.0 -

This is the only fee we charge on your loan application. We do not add a broker fee to your loan meaning you do not pay interest on the fee amount for the term of the advance. By accepting our terms and conditions you are requesting that we provide instant access to our loan searching service immediately, and as such we perform our duties under the contract instantly. You therefore agree and understand that you will not be entitled to cancel this contract by virtue of the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations 2004 ("the 2004 Regulations"). This is because by providing our services instantly, at your request, the contract falls within one of the exceptions to the right to cancel. In the event, however, that we do not find a loan provider for you within 10 days of your application, we will refund your search fee less £5, in accordance with and as permitted by the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
To facilitate Us processing payments and repayments You authorise Us to retain your charge, credit and debit card details. With regards to payments set up by debit or credit card we will attempt to take £49.99 when you make your application. If this payment declines we will immediately attempt to take a payment of £1 in order to validate your card details, should both of these attempts fail we will continue this process until You notify Us in writing that you wish Us to cancel such attempts or a period of 60 days has passed. Should the £1 validation payment accept at any stage during the 60 days then we will attempt to take £48.95 once per day until you notify us in writing that you wish Us to cancel such attempts or a period of 62 days has passed.
By using our services you are also accepting that Peoples Loan are not only entitled to receive your broker fee but also receive commissions from lenders or loan agents for processing your loan. When we are referring to our loan approval form, the term approved is a general approval on behalf of ourselves as a broker to those customers who meet the basic underwriting criteria accepted by our lenders either directly or through our loan agents. The APR that is advertised and or stated either verbally or in a written format. within our correspondence is our typical APR. The repayment figures advertised and or stated verbally or written within our correspondence are based upon our typical APR.
