Hi,
I would like to apply for a mortgage to buy a flat in Bristol. I currently live in London and and am in permanent employment, have a good credit rating and on electoral role etc, so feel I would be in a good position to get a mortgage. But if I was to do this and be given a mortgage I would be looking to buy a flat in Bristol, then if I would quit my job in London, move to Bristol and look for a new job.
Would the mortgage lender care that I was doing this? Or would I have to move to Bristol, get a job etc etc and then apply for a mortgage?
Not entirely sure what I need to do!
Thanks for your help

Some lenders will have an issue with this.
Others don't take this into account.

Why not move to Bristol, rent while you find your feet. Then buy once the future is clearer.0
