funny.. just wondering...why does it matter if someone missed it when they did a search? the op was trying to be helpful in letting people know about an offer, if they missed it when they searched then who exactly does it hur if it's just one posting? lol

It doesn't hurt anyone, I think the idea is that when an offer appears we get one thread, not 15 different ones. It makes it easier for everyone who wants to contribute. All the info is in one place and you don't need to check 15 different threads in case you missed something.

Having said that I think this thread only had 4 or 5 different versions but sometimes on the freebie board you can have 3 0r 4 identical threads on the first 2 pages and a further 10 scattered out over just a week

I have to agree. Some people will argue about anything though
