Have gone overdrawn because of onetel:mad: I pay my phone bill by dd and yesterday they took out the actual charge plus £30.01 for my previous bill (which i had paid) so with a debit i am now £9.50 o/d:mad: Have rung them this morning they said sorry! And would credit my bank account within 2-5 working days, i said no wanted the money in the account tomorrow and what about my bank charges plus interest plus phone calls they said they would ccredit my phone account with £5 so i said no that wasn't good enough! Am now waiting for a supervisor to phone back within 2hours, i told them if no one phoned me i would be contacting the telephone watchdog! Could anyone help me with where i go from here and what to say when they phone me back (if)!!!! By the way it s the first time i've had spare cash for months, just when you think everything is going ok!!!!!!

I had a problem with onetel that caused me to go overdrawn and eventually I managed to get them to pay the charges, and refund me the bill. I did however have to write several letters, and provide proof from the bank that their inefficiency was the only reason I had incurred bank charges, and they eventually coughed up.
It did take time though, and was very frustrating, but I got there in the end. Keep on at them, but I found that writing was far more productive than telephoning bombay.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Hi
You should be able to go to your bank and say you are doing an indemity claim for the DD they have taken in error, this means that the bank will reverse the dd and the money should be credited to your account there and then in line with the DD guarentee.LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0 -
