Financial services Credit check

Hi
I have been accepted for a job at worldpay subject to pre employment screening. I believe this includes credit checks. I have no defaults but have had a number of payday loans and am maxed out on my available credit card balances (around £4000). Does anyone know what Worldpay checks? They used to belong to RBS so it might be a similar process. Can you be declined for a job based on having PayDay loans?

No absolutely not
I've wondered it myself but well no-one has ever used this reasoning for me nor have I seen any forms that ask details further then the average default which can be for any finance and the penultimate question no-one wants to be asked, take everything that gets said about credit checks with a pinch of salt it varies greatly organisation to organisation, is best kept in writing and should you hit any such difficulty or are knowingly dishonest when questions are blatantly being asked then is the time to worry if you get it, congrats with the new role

But financial services organisations usually take credit checks rather more seriously than others.
It will probably be fine unless it's a senior role or one that involves significant authority for making transactions.0
