im looking to buy my first home but would like some advice.
I have finally finished uni and been able to gain employment, I have a part time contract for 18.5 hours a week, at the moment there are no full time posts so my employer has offered me casual work for the additional 18.5 hours a week so I will be working full time. this casual work is going to be available for the long term. the salary for a full time post is £23, 180. I have £24000 saved for a house, this will include deposit, fees and various items needed for a home, although I have bought a lot of things already.
will I be able to get a mortgage with a part time salary and casual salary?

Until you have a decent record of receiving it, perhaps for a year or more, the casual income may not be included by many lenders.
In which case, only your part-time but permanent income would be included for affordability.I am a mortgage broker.
