No reason, just like with applying for non volunary roles. But I guess it also came down to the hours I could do too.

I've always been given reasons for not getting paid jobs when i've been unsuccessful at interview. I also asked for feedback on one occasion when i didn't get as far as an interview and was given it. Have you asked for feedback?

What sort of voluntary work are you interested in and what hours can you do? Most of my voluntary work is done during office hours but I do one role on a Saturday morning and I am sure other roles are available in what is normally considered unsociable hours.

They were driving jobs mainly delivering and collecting items bought and donated by customers.
but i do also think that those driving jobs were for only people who were employed rather than voluntary. I was only able to do 15 hours per week max, but now i am employed i could only give around 3 hours per week max.
