dad is 70

Any ideas what i can get my dad for his 70th next week

    Hi,

    Is your dad retired or still working? Does he have any regular hobbies? Has he been eyeing anything recently that he might like? Anything aroun the home that he might find useful day-to-day? Sorry I can't offer anything more substantial but hopefully this might get you thinking along the right lines.

    my dad-in-law is 80 this year and we got him a replica newspaper from the day he was born
    Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!:mad:
    Cos if you do it today and like it...You can do it again tomorrow.. :p

    You haven't got much time but what about an album of your favourite pictures through the years. And a card which says you owe him seventy hugs!!

    I got my dad an original magazine from the year he was born but it took me a while to find one, sometimes they are on ebay but I don't think you would get it in time so maybe as already suggested a copy one!

    A Zimmer frame, invalid carridge, or stair lift maybe greatfully wecomed. god help when i reach 70.
