Lost Finance Agreement
Options
I would be really greatful for some advice on the below. I have been pulling what little hair I have left out!
I have a car leased by my company and financed by a well known finance company. I phoned today to get a settlement figure. They could not trace my lease through either the agreement number or the car reg. Eventually they emailed me a figure but it had the wrong agreement reference and a ridiculous figure. Apparently it would appear that I am non- existent. I then ran a HPI check on the car and my agreement showed up as an outstanding finance alert! But the company still say they cannot trace me or my car!
I want to pay IT off but can't!
Any advice gratefully received!

Might be worth DSAR'ing them, this might prompt them to search a bit more than just a cursory glance as the have to abide by DSAR conditions.0

wheres yours, send a copy to themDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

When you say your company, do you mean employer? Or your own co? If you have access to the bank for which payments are made, there should be a reference on the DD mandate0
