Just wondered if anyone has had any thoughts about next years personal or debt managing challenges my mind keeps wandering past Christmas and new year now probably as we are in limbo waiting to hear about our DMP being set up.
Mine will definitely be to build my emergency pot.
Too save for birthdays and other occasions also to earn vouchers via surveys for this.
To clear my credit union loan via a challenge on here.
Learn to be more frugal in general.

2015 challenge! I like it!!!
Ok, so, not sure how practical these targets are but here goes;
1. Get back to work and get some money rolling in...
2. Buy all my Christmas presents for next year before the end of February (LOL)! It worked well this year so I may as well do it again next year
3. Throw as much as I can at my debts to get them paid off! I'm back at my Mums now so no rent, if I got back to work I could in theory be debt free by this time next year!
4. Build and maintain a good sized emergency fund to avoid the need for credit in the future
5. Assuming my back is playing ball, I aim to get fit and healthy and stay that way! No more slobbing and slouching for this Monkey...

Was thinking about this the other day, my goals are:
- Save up an emergency pot, hoping for 1500
- Lose weight, and be able to wear the clothes I already have!
- Get on top of the mortgage arrears, and overpay by 3000 (ambitious!)
- Meal plan, and stick to my grocery lists and budget, also aim for at least 15 nsd a month

Good thought, I've been pre-occupied about this year I've not really considered next year at all, in fact it sort of surprised me that 2015 was so close.
Defo trying to lose some weight, I'd like to be able to fit into more of the clothes I have, otherwise I will have to buy some more stuff as I only have one pair of trousers that (just) fit now.
Enter more comps and surveys to try to boost income as I'm limited physically on what I can do to earn extra dosh
Do have some stuff I could sell, that could boost the coffers a bit but need to get organised.
THanks for the ideasDebt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.
Estimated DFD August 2018 - 2031 - now 2027 :T

Ahh lots in the same thought pattern better health and wealth, and organised.
strange how the new year creeps up on us even though it comes every year huh.
I have spent this year fighting the inevitable paying off credit then using more to get to end of month, we are all mentally brow beaten here so desperately looking forward to some peace and some fun in life again. I am so glad still we chose DMP rather than IVA it is Definitely the right way for us..
Anyway thanks for the replies and bring on the challenge's xWeightloss -36.5lb/64lb.

Mine is to stop eating white bread and wine (not together) or at least cut down the wine to twice a week.
Stop spending on my debit card which is meant for bill ( I worked it out that I had spent £350 on "sillies" in one month, now we are short for the mortgage)
