E: 30/10 WIN Clark JumpStart 1224 Engine Starter worth over £150!

It’s heavy, but it’s effective - once the Clarke 1224 Jumpstart is fully charged, it will start any large vehicle capable of towing 3.5 tonnes.

Weighing in at 16kg, it can start petrol engines up to six litres, or a diesel up to three. There’s a changeover switch which gives you the option of starting a 12v battery or 24v.

With winter approaching, those batteries might not start working quite as well as they should.

As with jump leads you place the red clip onto the positive terminal and the black clip to the negative terminal and the engine will start at the turn of the key. That is if there is nothing wrong with the engine and your trouble is just the flat battery.
