Nationwide mortgage product switch

We have a mortgage offer from Nationwide for a 5 year fixed at 3.34% - we see that they have recently reduced their rates and we are thinking of asking to switch to the new rate of 2.94%. I assume its just a 'change of product form' or something similar or is it a whole new application? if its just a form, do you know where I can get one from? we applied online directly as we are existing customers. Does anyone have any knowledge of how long these things take? We have been told by our solicitor today that we are aiming for completion 21st Nov - will this be enough time? we don't want to delay anything for the sake of £20 per month but if we have time to do it, we may as well make the saving!

Surprised you didn't get an answer to this...
Just give them a call on the 0800 number and they'll sort it out, took about 24 hours for me. Just bear in mind that your solicitor will need to have received the new offer before you can exchange, it will likely take a week to arrive since Nationwide unfortunately use UK Mail rather than Royal Mail.0 -

Yeah very strange,
My advisor called NW on Friday afternoon, 10 mins later got a text from NW saying a new offer had been issued. Following Wednesday new offer received.
3.64% down to 3.19% - saving about £50 per month. Great Service - Just need to exchange now0 -
We go our mortgage offer with Nationwide on the 20th, they dropped there rates on 23rd so I emailed my broker to ask if we could change on the 26th, new mortgage offer issued 29th and I received it on Saturday 1st.
Went from 2.84% down to 1.89% I think, saved us £100 a month!0
