It does sound like you might be overreacting a bit, but none of us know you or the circumstances. Don't do anything drastic, just come clean first to your partner, be fully honest and say that you felt ashamed of it. If your partner wants to end the relationship just phone the broker and pull out of the mortgage and house purchase, no further explanation necessary. If you want to continue together you'll have to be honest with the broker, but don't worry about it, they're all professionals, I'm sure they've seen a lot worse!Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

I recently had clients in for a mortgage. Discussions going well. 'Any credit cards?'
Mr states 'all cleared in full each month' Mrs looks a bit sheepish.
A look of acknowledgement to Mrs and we carry on. She called me the next morning and disclosed all. Now cleared but with money from Mum.
Told her I would note the fact find and aplication forms as the debt was still showing (cleared 2 days previously). Proof of payments to card provided and Mrs dealt with the post. Mr signed where she asked him to.
Now in new house and he will never know she had debts.
OP don't do anything rash. I know from personal experience how hurtful it is when a partner hides issues. Not telling me hurt more than me sorting it out.
