Is there anybody out there that has recently had some success with being approved for a Mortgage with bad credit??
I have defaults and 1 CCJ which are at the end of their 6 year period and are dropping off as we speak. Last to drop off is CCJ next July.
My Wife's credit rating is pretty is brilliant. We would like to buy a house around £110k with 10k deposit. But typically she can only get mortgage for 69k as she earns 16k and i'm on 27k.
Is there any success stories out there that can brighten my day?

Speak to a broker.
the age of those defaults should mean there are lenders who will consider you, assuming your incomes and everything else stacks up.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
