It would seem to be the case that if you are over 60 and your PP is not tied to repayment or only available without restriction at a certain age, it should be declared for the PC claim?

Even after then, the fund will still be £14k short of the mortgage debt...
(which is what the PP is primarily meant to pay for)
It may be from April onwards that the 'savings' issue might arise - we shall see.
The total pot will be withdrawn then anyway to service the debt and reduce my interest payments...
