new trick to reject couponers

usual SA, normally scanned anything, but for some reasons the till rejected all coupons when approaching the last tenner/ fiver. same coupons used the next time with different SAs and all went thro. and it happened again today, same SA. i observed and saw that SA scrutinized most coupons and intentionally scanned the back of coupons with the barcode facing the other way. therefore nothing scanned in, that SA stopped being chatty as well. 
i reckoned it was a polite way of rejection, got the message and paid up. will take some items back next time.
oh well, guess it is better than calling supervisor over and make a scene.
i got the message and won't use that SA again, blessed that SA for being so "civilised". :rolleyes:
