2 wins! (I hope)

Seems like I keep being unlucky with wins.. I won a 1 week surf course from this competition catz posted, but I will not be able to take it. In the competition it said "in September", but they gave me specific dates when to take it.. which unfortunately includes my final exam for my MSc so.... oh well, despite being called "holiday to Portugal", transport to the camp and food weren't included, but still would have been a good prize if it hadn't been the first September week, after all the exam stress Maybe they will give the prize to someone else of you lot and you can enjoy it

Secondly, I won an ipod in the boots text competition today.. I HOPE! I've been entering that one and the somerfield one which is the same number within a couple of seconds, so it seems to have thought CAR was my name and address and asked me for my full address. I was sooo tired after a long day at work and a night with Harry Potter that I didn't really read the message and just replied with last name, house no and postcode as usual! Now they only have that, I really hope they still send it out, I've been entering this for ages on 2 phones a day, only won 3 cokes before, why does something stupid like this happen when i WIN THE IPOD? :eek:

Does anyone know what happens when you win in a text comp and the prize doesn't turn up? Wish there was a hotline I could call but it won't let me call 82100

well done, if you are struggling to receive the prizes you could try ringing whichever company is running the promotion - ie. boots. I would leave it at least a couple of weeks as some comps say 28 days to receive prizes
