Is this possible (Remortgage to consolidate)

Hi All,

I wonder if you good people could help me, I currently live in a house the is worth an estimated 190 to 200k, I have approx 150k left on mortgage, I also have a large sum of debts, approx 30k, I was wondering if i could remortgage somewhere and consolidate all my debts in with the mortgage?

My current mortgage is with NRAM who don't remortgage for obvious reasons.

Any help would be appreciated.

You could but turning unsecured debt into secured debt and paying it over the life of your mortgage is quite a poor idea - it'll likely cost you lots more than just dealing with it as it is.

£180k remortgage for debt consolidation on property worth £190k to £200k isn't going to happen.
