Hi all, just a quick question, hoping someone will have been here before. Its been 6 years since my bankruptcy next month and i am wondering how that will affect my credit files over the coming months.
Does the record of Bankruptcy automatically come of my files or will i have to notify the agencies and also will individual banks who have known that i was bankrupt still hold that against me when making decisions on products to offer. for example banks who i owed money too in my bankruptcy.
many thanks

Yes, it does..although it may take a month or two to happen.also will individual banks who have known that i was bankrupt still hold that against me when making decisions on products to offer. for example banks who i owed money too in my bankruptcy.
That will depend on whether they keep personal records or not? Try them and see?No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0 -
As I understand it, your bankruptcy may come off credit reference agency files, but may lenders (especially mortgage lenders) will ask on the application form whether you have ever been bankrupt.0
