I would ignore until they send you a letter, then respond with where's my CCA.

i have just recieved a copy of the original visa card application form from idem. it looks like the original application form i filled out the only interesting thing is my name and address are pre printed which on the application form were handwritten but it does have part of the address corrected by myself. Am i well and truly snookered with this.

Hi, Did you read my other post ?
An application form, is just that. It is not a copy of your credit agreement.
They have failed to respond to your CCA request, they have tried to fob you off by sending an application form, this is not acceptable.
Send them this :

(Your home address)
Date:

To:

Dear Sir/Madam

Account/Ref No:

With reference to your recent letter.
On (insert date) I make an official request for a copy of my original consumer credit agreement for the above account.


What you have sent me is an application form.
This is not a copy of my original agreement, therefore you have not complied with my CCA request, under the terms of the consumer credit act 1974.

I understand that under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 creditors are unable to enforce an agreement if they fail to comply with the request for a copy of the agreement and statement of account under these sections of the Act.

Please either supply me with the correct paperwork that I am entitled to under the above act, or provide your reasons for not doing so within 14 days.
