T25

Hi has anyone done this workout?

I have not been exercising for some time and have about 50ish pounds to lose.

I used to run about 10 years ago did London marathon and great north run among others but find it hard at the moment, I am trying to up the walking I do as i spend a lot of time at work sat down at a desk, in the car or someone's house.

Does anyone know if T25 would be a good start to build up fitness or is it aimed at a more advanced level?

I have 30 shred somewhere but never got through it:o

I did the alpha stage of T25 but couldn't move on to Beta because I'd borrowed it from a friend. I'm considering buying it myself though so I can do it properly. I've done Insanity and preferred T25 simply because the workouts are shorter and easier to fit in. It is a tough workout though and if you haven't been active for a while you might find it a bit much.

As you've already got 30 day Shred I'd recommend giving that a go, I did it at the start of the year, before moving on to T25 and it made a huge difference to my fitness levels and I did lose a fair amount of fat too.
If you don't get on with that though have a look at Fitness Blender, it's a website full of free exercise videos all done by one couple and the few I've done have been fantastic.
  • Thanks i will check out the website and put off getting the T25 til i have started exercising abit more.

I can't speak for T25 as I've never tried it but I can speak for Insanity. I am on week three of my SECOND PASS through Insanity. Obviously I love Insanity. I have enjoyed tremendous results from it and intend doing it for ever.

Together with Insanity I do swimming, running and weights. Needless to say I am getting seriously fit. It's been gruelling but incredibly rewarding. I don't know if anyone else got hooked on Insanity but I am one serious addict and as Shaun T would say, I love it!
  • Definitely do 30 Day Shred first :)
