Newspapers have pictures of teenagers in them. If you exist then other people can look at you and who knows what they're thinking. Maybe we should all hide indoors because of this.

Sounds like a fun idea to me.
**Should mention, in case anyone thinks it is a nude calander, the girls will be wearing a VERY small football kit!!!

But not pictures of teenagers (unless they are of legal age) in tiny football kits! x

Sorry, my mistake: oh get a life - not all women are as pathetic and dirty minded as you are:D

If you really think that it is only seventeen year old boys that would be interested in this then you are sadly deluded. All too many depraved men gets their kicks out of this kind of thing.

One thing I am not is deluded, depraved men also get their kicks out of looking at animals, smelly shoes:eek: , middle-aged women, etc, what shall we do, never photograph any of them ever again, just in case? I am sure some of the boys interested will be nearly 18:rotfl:

Yes, it is a 'bit pervy'. However, in the context of Page 3, it would also be illegal. Depending on the degree of exposure, it is classed as child pornography. This is the issue, you have to be so careful as to whether you are crossing that line or not.

There would be no more exposure than you can see on any sunny (!) day on a beach in britain.

Seventeen year olds are not adults in the eyes of the law with respect to issues such as this.

    See my previous post.

You need to get real as to how some people view this kind of thing.

The great majority of people would not bat an eyelid at a charity calendar, however there is a minority of sicko's that just thrive on this kind of thing. They are known as PAEDOPHILES.

I am well aware of the existence of PAEDOPHILES. The idea has been run past the child protection officer of the club, and I am sure if they had any problems we would know soon enough.

Do you want to encourage them?

Obviously, as a mother of three, this is my main aim in life!

I have no problem with people wanting to raise money for a charitable cause. However, anything that could assist paedophiles in satisfying their needs makes me feel physically sick.

Do NOT accuse me of anything that would assist a paedophile, I find this most insulting.

Back to my point, I am asking for ideas, not moral lectures, please keep them to yourselves.

    Carol,

What type of pictures are you looking at doing? If it is full make up, big hair, pouty lips, 'kneeling' poses etc etc you can probably see why it is rubbing people up the wrong way.

However, if its on a footy pitch with a girl kicking a ball to another girl or holding a ball in the air, scoring a goal etc etc, then yes that is a little more innocent and probably more 'socially' acceptable.

    Maybe you could clarify this?

With regards to ideas, how much you looking to sell them for?

I am not accusing you of anything, but I am making you aware of the possibilities associated with your actions. In that respect, I would be grateful that people are bringing it to your attention!

When you post on an open forum, you must realise that people are allowed to have opinions. These opinions may not be the same as yours.

Yes, but surely you can see, I WAS NOT asking for opinions on the morality of things, I was asking for advice on having fundraising calendars printed - a vast difference.

If I was talking about 15 and 16 year olds I would hold my hands up and say bad idea, BUT we are talking about 17/18 year olds and the 17 year olds are nearer to 18 than 17.

Hi Stacey, I was waiting for somebody to ask this, but immediately everybody saw !!!!!! poses flashing before their eyes!!

We are thinking of the girls kicking the balls, catching the balls in net, etc. I am not for a minute saying they will all be make-up free - have you ever tried depriving an 18 year old of her make-up??!! Anyway, "big" hair is out;)

Not sure of how much they would be sold for, depends on how much we would have to pay for them.

    Thanks, Carol

DMG does have a very valid point here, a lot of people have highlighted something you hadnt thought of, and if you are doing this to make money, its not going to be a huge money spinner from the moral standpoint. Stick with 18yr old or older, seriously

if you are going to do a mums version, over 40's, i'll have a chat down the alotment at the weekend to see if old Ken and his mates are interested, sure they will have a few.

Please dont get offended by all the comments Carol, like DMG says we are pointing out something which is worth taking on board, regardless of how innocent this appears to you. ;)
I never missed a payment :T , I paid off all my credit cards :T , I paid of all my loans :T , i have a work mobile :T - but am now "medium" credit risk

Hi again Alan, as I mentioned in my post to you, I valued your opinion and point of view, because you made it rationally, others have practically jumped down my neck and had me selling my daughter and her friends to the nearest pimp for a profit (not that I know many pimps you understand:D !! ) I am not offended, more amazed that people would think somebody could be so stupid as to go ahead with something that might put their daughter in danger (of any kind). It is actually something we had ALL thought about, hence the fact that there weren't any 15 year olds about to take part.

Tell Ken its a date;) :D;):D

My daughter has just read this thread all the way through; her response?

"My god", translated as what a loss of fuss about nothing.
