SmartFinder key finder alternative???

I need a fail safe device for mum with Alzeimers. Her BIG fear is loosing her keys ( she rings me at all times of day/night to tell me she's lost them.) I'm looking for a way to help her find them. Sonic finders wont work, she cant cope with clapping or whistling. I've found an electronic device called Smartfinder which can locate up to 4 items by a remote control. Providing I can fix the remote to somewhere I think this will do fine. Its £20 though. Anyone know if there is a generic brand anywhere?

I bought my Dad one of these for Christmas as he's always losing things. Its quite clever, but not as loud as they make out, particularly when the keys or other device you've lost is in a pocket or somewhere that their alarm will be muffled. The remote's not very big either, so you may find that your Mum loses that too, as my Dad does. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
