Hey, looking for some advise.

I started work on the 21st of july. 2014
Since then i havent had a single paylsip, nor have my tax or NI been paid.
Im working for my girlfriends dad and am being paid cash at the moment even though he insists he will be putting me on the books.
He says you can backdate all the tax/NI from when i started work. which is what hes planning to do. Hes on an agreement with the JC that if he pays me 6 months, and shows all payslips that he will get £2500 out of it.
He has had previous workers for him before and i know they were on the books because i have asked them,
My main question is can you backdate all the tax & NI from my start date?
this is also messing my house up, because my mom cant tell the rent im working yet because i have no pay slips, so will they backdate it when they find out?
Its fine if they do, ive been telling my mom to save £50 a week aside for when they clock on so we can pay it all in one. (its only £25 a difference rent if im working, but better to put extra there)
Kind of stuck tbh. Dont know weather ill get the paylsips, or just look for another job. i believe he will do my tax & NI
anyone got any advise?

I cant answer your questions, if it were me I would look for another job.0

How much do you earn? Are tax and NI actually due?
Anyway, payment of tax and NI to HMRC are not your issue, if you believe they are being withheld from your wage but not paid you can inform HMRC and they will metaphorically boot your girfriend's dad in the groin.
I don't really understand the rent issue but if it's causing you a problem why don't you just explain that to him and say that you need payslips to resolve it now?0 -
He is legally obliged to provide you with payslips, with details of the tax and NI deducted for your records. Keep a record of how much he has paid you and on what dates so that you can check them once you receive them.
Explain to him that you need them for your other financial matters and not having them is now causing a problem. But ultimately, look for another job. Working for a partner's parent is a nightmare if something goes wrong in either relationship.
Good luck. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

I'm on a weekly wage of 180 a week, if I have a day off due to no work I still get the same at the end of the week. Some days are a few hours, some are long, so it works out to about 28 hours min wage I believe.
My main question is can he backdate the tax? And pay it all in one go? Same with the ni?
And the issue is with the rent,
My mom works part time, so only pays 65 of the 90.
Last time I worked it was put onto full rent.
I need proof of I'm working.
With no proof we aren't paying the full rent, so will they back date it when they find out from the day I started working?
I've asked for payslips on numerous occasisons and he always says he's sorting it out.
If I received all the payslips in one go I woudnt mind. I just don't know if they can be backdated?0
