    Hi there
Also feeling quite pleased with myself because friend I went to see helped me to feel more confident with weaning bubs using Baby led approach. I'd wanted to try it but bit scared about choking/ doing something wrong but she reassured me and gave him a slice of mango that he basically played with for a bit. Got home and tried some other things- he seemed to be happier than when I was feeding him with a spoon. Anyway I digress, basically I'm thinking this could be a far easier and cheaper approach as he will eventually be eating pretty much what we do.

    Hello
We did baby led weaning too. Have you heard of Gill Rapley she is the midwife that popularised BLW. If you look her up you'll find lots of good stuff.
I started at 7 months, my son didn't like purees so we went straight into finger food. To begin with it was basically me still breast feeding him but putting him in the high chair with a few bits & bobs on his tray like a spring onion, peppers anything crunchy that he could hold in his fat hands. We then increased the amount of food he ate gradually whilst decreasing the milk feeds gradually too. Eventually stopped milk at 14 months. I didn't use any of the follow on milks just stuck to water in small quantities then cows milk much later on.
The biggest point I took from BLW is they won't choke. It's a mothers biggest fear but they won't!
Good luck with it all. It's a fun time :)

Oh I see. Our cat is only 3 so he may be younger than yours for the insurance quote? The deal when we took it out was just that when we paid our first monthly payment, £25 went on our nectar card. I'm not very hot on 'double-ups' as I've never used Tesco & to be honest, we don't use Sainsbury's all that often as there isn't a branch in our town. It sounds like you've found a good deal, anyway, that's the main thing.

My Cat is 8. So maybe that's it. Basically with tesco & sainsburys I now found out they do periods throughout the year where you can double your points that you have its great at Christmas because you can get a lot more for your money that way. Make sure you share your using up recipe by the way!
