We have done some looking at insurance and quoted around £1600 on compare the market, our town is very low crime etc so perhaps this is why it works out abit cheaper. But he's got to pass first
:D
That's £130 a month just for the insurance. Not much left over for the car, the maintenance, the fuel, MOT, repairs...0 -

I'm confused how you managed to get into so much debt if that is how you live. I think you need to be realistic about how you spend your money and you will definitely need to keep a spending diary to find that out. Possibly go back through your bank account statements and see what you buy extra that you haven't included.
I hope all goes well for you. You could look at the grocery challenges to see if they help at all.
The debt has been a slow accumulation we had a very high mortgage at one point and money pit of a house, and lower wages, so we have since moved and reduced bills etc they are as above. The 2 older children have left home now and youngest is getting himself sorted now, he will probably get some help with his car expenses from his grandad and he already has money given to him for his car. I do think its general shopping money goes as we dont go out buying anything else.“What you're supposed to do when you don't like a thing is change it.
