Mortgage Possibilty ?

Just a post to scope out a possibility of a mortgage in the £60k -£70k range
I earn £15k and have £9k - £10k available for a deposit. No blemishes at all on my credit history of 1 credit card, 1 loan and 2 current accounts all paid in full on time.
Now the trouble is with my low income and the fact i have not been on the electoral roll very long even though everything i own is registered to the 1 address that i have recently moved back to (the parents).
How long do you have to be on the electoral roll for the lender to be satisfied you are who you are even though i have ties to the address i have enrolled at for 15+ years and can prove through bank statements etc.
Any opinions would be welcome or if anyone else on a low income with a mortgage has any advice.
Thanks

Electoral roll is a critical piece of data. As it ensures that all your credit history is brought together into a single record. Not a question on evidencing where you lived. What's key is that you didn't walk away from any liabilities, i.e. simply disappear.0
