In the end I went with putting it on the Capital One card that is close to the limit, It was around £90 I had spare. I just figured it would be worse for me to accidentally go over the limit on the card when the statement arrives so its a buffer. Not a spending buffer however.
Vanquis card is negative £26 so hopefully when the statement comes, the £26 will eat up any interest. Capital One card is now £0 but need to wait for next statement.
I’m leaving Simply Be for now, It is only £128 but I’ll just pay that off slower. I’m going to focus on the credit card that has £470 ish next. Its the most annoying one as it doesn’t have online access, I can only wait for the statement to come to be able to see how much is left!
Tonight husband is at work at 6, he will probably have weetabix for dinner as he is too lazy to cook for himself. I will probably not have any dinner tonight, might have porridge as need to get through the 10kg sack of oats. I plan to make kale pesto tonight and freeze it, have carrots left over so will make carrot soup, a load of onions so will chop and bag up and freeze. Unfortunately going to have to throw some rice away as can’t remember when it was cooked. I plan to make a small portion of rice pudding for tomorrow night. I’ve found we can have smaller meals if we have something like rice pudding afterwards as it’s so filling. Tomorrow for dinner I plan to fry some chorizo, add the rest of the cream cheese from fridge, plus the other half of the tinned tomatoes. Add some cheese and cooked spaghetti and some oregano. This is currently our quick comfort food meal when we have just the most basic ingredients. I’ve got an open jar of pesto which I’ll chuck in as well. The beauty of it is that I don’t need the cream cheese or the chorizo, I just add it if I have it. Frozen peas and tinned sweetcorn finish it off. Although I prefer just the peas.
Next on my list is to list some more wedding stuff on ebay, which I will do this evening. A girl at work has decided to buy the decorative bird cages, she will pay me on pay day in two weeks but I will let her have them early. I’ve got a couple more china sets and some frames etc. 3 cake stands, milk jugs etc. 70 wedding chair sashes as well!Money money money.

Tonight hubby is at home so I have two choices for dinner. Brie risotto or tomatoey pasta. I was naughty and bought some bits from the co op last night out of the remaining £44 budget, overpriced brie (lidl is closed for refurb and cba going to asda), some mozzarella (also overpriced), some quark and a couple of energy drinks which I shouldn’t have.
Hubby likes brie risotto but I forgot to defrost bacon so I might got for the tomatoey pasta as I’ve still got half a tin of tomatoes, some pesto, some cheese etc in the fridge that I can use. I did make my kale pesto as planned but no idea what its like so maybe I should try that first.
Threw all the out of date food away, luckily only rice, bagged salad, and a smelly stick of broccoli. Anything else I froze if I could.
I’m going to need to chop all of the credit cards up, or at least cut through the chip as I’ve been using the Tesco card to buy chocolate............yup.Money money money.
