UJM - what to do / look out for?

Jobcentre now say I will now HAVE to use UJM, although when I set an account up previously, on their OWN computers, it didn't work!
(my home pc just didn't like the safety settings, full stop)..
So, if they sort this out, what do seekers have to do?
Upload screen prints of each search done? emails / letters sent?
Odd that they are pushing it now, after months being OK with my written diary..
Big brother approaches!

Just update everything you do job-wise in the activity history0

There is still no legal requirement for JSA claimants to use UJ. If an adviser, or should I say Work Coach, says that it is mandatory to use UJ then ask him / her to provide the legislation. Obviously depends if you don't mind upsetting the staff.
JSA claimants do have to register for UJ, post a profile and CV and allow access for JSA staff to view that this has happened. However it is still the case that it is entirely up to the claimant how he / she presents their jobsearch evidence0 -
Brightonman123 - I was told by my adviser/work coach last week that when filling in the UJ activity form I have to provide details of the recruitment website I used and also to note down the job referral number. That was only after I mentioned that some of the jobs I'd applied for were on Reed and Monster though.0

-register & use
or
-register, use & allow advisor access
You can just register, use, provide email address you used, so they can verify you have an account.
You don't have to allow access for them to view your account, that's optional & your choice as it's your account.0 -

That's what I''ve been told to do, possibly because I won't apply for jobs through UJM as so few of them really exist.0
