Company paying up to 3 weeks late

The company I work for has cash flow problems every month and they are paying me sometimes part of it a week late and then the rest 2 weeks or 3 weeks late.
We are now getting to the point where they don't know when they can pay me.
I know they are in breach of contract but you always hope that you will get paid but this could go on and on. So, if I am not paid for last month can I withdraw my labour without effectively sacking myself or do I have to stay and work? (I could go to a tribunal but I don't want to do that yet).
Are there any options?

So has the company itself not been paid for the services it has provided, or is the whole operation under financed? Is this a continual and continuing problem? Are you the only one affected?
You do realise if you withdraw your labour, you will not be paid for the days you don't work. If you're instrumental in bringing the money into the company, then you'll be creating more problems for yourself. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

I'm not sure what the answer is. If the company is that rocky, then going to a tribunal won't do you any good, they won't have the money to defence it, it'll be a while before it appears before a panel by which time the company might have gone bump.
I think I'd go with the suggestion of finding a new job pronto.0 -
I am not the only one. All the employees as far as I know are not being paid or being paid late. The company claims it is being paid late but I can't verify that. I supect they are using our salaries to finance the company's continued existence.lincroft1710 wrote: »So has the company itself not been paid for the services it has provided, or is the whole operation under financed?
