Thanks coldcazzie. It certainly has been a fantastic couple of weeks, both personally and financially, hoping for more of the same!

A quiet couple of weeks here. Baby Garfy is settling in nicely but not sleeping too good so I've had a few tired days in work this week! Definately ready for this weekend.

Our first overpayment is just now showing on our online mortgage statement.....what a great feeling!

This last weeks main moneysaving effort has been to eat all of our pre frozen meals to make up space for some new dishes this weekend. I think I'll be making up a nice Chilli and some kind of beef stew to freeze as that's what our daughter likes best. A trip to the market in the morning to stock up on fresh veg.

Financially it has been a very good month work wise. I'm self employed and my take home wages yoyo quite a lot. We have a 3 monthly contract with the NHS which always feels like a quarterly bonus so I'm about £1000 up on last month so far which will be used to overpay the max £500! :)

Have a great weekend folks! :)
