Age Renew - rip off via MSE

Martin, you pride yourself helping people to save money, shaming companies in not being open and fair, but yet I have been ripped off by a company selected by your website. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed. The terms and conditions were not clear and I feel aggrieved.
When using your website a pop up for a free prize and selected the Age Renew Skin Care and completed the form. I've just found out that they have charged me over £500 in total, after receiving 6 bottles at over £80 each. As living in a busy household I did not now we had all these bottles nor did I see the charges on my credit card statements.
I would like a response please, thanks

Well it's probably not the response you want but how about.........
make time to read your credit card statements0 -
I thought this site didn't have advertising. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/moneysavingexpert-finance
So wouldn't the pop up have been from some other site or program? But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

There are no pop-ups on this site, it is more than likely that your computer has a worm that is generating the pop-up.
You need to run a search program such as malwarebytes to seek and destroy the worm.0 -
I thought Martin Lewis had sold the website/brand a few years ago, and that if he does have any ownership it would be a part or shared ownership now.
Not that it answers your question, maybe the best way to get hold of him is to message him rather than a forum thread? I can't help but thinking he might not be reading the health and beauty forum0 -
Hi there,
Like Torbrex said, there is no advertising on this site and certainly no pop ups coming from us. Our Editorial Code is here if you'd like a read: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/site/editorial-code

Also, our guide on Section 75 of the consumer credit act may help you claim back your money. Hope this helps!

I'm sure the way I gained access to it was via a survey that was posted on MSE - basically to get a free product fill in this survey.
Section 75 only applies to purchases over £100 - so thats that one our of the window.

If it was something posted on our forums by another user leading to an external site, it's not MSE. As this is a public forum we allow links to be posted unless they get reported to us, then we can take action. We urge all our users to take cautions when using external sites but you should never have a problem with ours

There are worms that create random links in the text of posts on internet forums.
My computer got infected with an annoying little bu££er like that.
A Malware program removed it though. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
It's a public forum, you really need to take anything posted here with caution and check it out firstly.2 angels in heaven :A0
