Employment issue

Hello again forum,I have been on here once or twice, talking about employment issues and more.
I have a issue I can't figure out,I was employed in a company for thirteen years, until end of 2010/11 until I fell ill,not fault of my own,I went through the proper channels,I had to apply for contribution esa then ended up on income based, due to the employer not having a sickness payment scheme.
As said before I had various attempts to go back and failed, various human resources meetings, until January 2014 when I was given a ultimatum return or basically,we will go down the ill Heath disciplinary route,I said fine, they had all medical evidence so had nothing to hide.
Well the company has now disbanded and sold out to another company,I had no knowledge until months after my supposed disciplinary.
Well now in October 2014 after I managed to contact someone via email, passed on to someone I didn't know then to my previous area/director manager of previous company contacted me,I had asked what was happening etc he couldn't answer, just wanted to know what the current state was for me,I said still much the same just now I'm on long term esa, which I had to appeal for at a tribunal, which I was awarded, funny enough the same day the tribunal was held was the day I had to go back to work at the last company.
So now they want a copy of my tribunal letter, which I have,as I stated in email I was unfit for work, will it be good enough ?
I would like help with this,
