About ten years ago Reed contacted me regarding a vacancy with the company that I was about to leave. It was the vacancy that I had created. I had been with the company for many years.

    There is a pattern.......
There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who do not.

Registering on the Reed website is different to registering with Reed as an agency I think. Reed.co.uk isn't an agency, its a job board, like Monster, CV Library etc. So you registered on the website but then Reed the agency picked up your profile months later the same as any agency that uses the Reed website does. I get 'thanks for registering with us' emails from agencies every once in a while despite not registering (or having even heard of them) with them, they just get my details from my profile and create a record of me which then triggers an email.
