  • Hi all Went to see Billy at the liverpool philarmonic last night. He was brilliant !! Fantastic!! 100 times better than expected and much better live than on dvd! I was a little worried because I had read about him not being as good any more but that is complete nonsense he was hilarious. He was on stage for about two hours. We managed to meet him going in through the back doors too and had photos with him and autographs so how happy am I??
  • Thanks for this report secsi, we are going to see him on Tuesday at Newcastle City Hall and I am really looking forward to it.
  • we're off to see him in Brighton next month, can't wait now!!

  • Secsi, you jammy thing having you pic with him.

I was there too last night and thought he was fabulous. I've never been to the Phil before and couldn't believe he would play in a venue so small (compared to the videos where he plays in huge theatres).

Because of this blog, I booked my seats really early and was actually in the front row spot on looking at him. My tv at home is further away!

Hope everyone else enjoys the show x

I'm in row D in the stalls, I think row C is the front row but not sure.

Is it small ?, never been before, anyway should be fun.

  • The City Hall is not too small but it is comfy and not like the Metro Arena, it feels closer and personal.

Wow, I cant believe these dates have come around so quickly, seems like ages since I first posted.

Glad that you enjoyed it, I cant wait until the end of October to see him (Nottingham) but I have an American trip and Take That concert (sad I know :o ) before then :T .

Really good news to hear that he is still able to entertain well. I have wanted to see him live for so long, I bet the 2 hours flew by.

Thanks for letting us know how it went :D
