How many comps do you enter?

 Just wondering really, how many comps do you need to aim to enter a day to win reasonably?

All of you winning sometimes 2 or 3 prizes a day, how many comps did you enter and for how long before prizes started to roll in?

:T Thanks!

Just entered 42 this afternoon. I've been comping since Feb and had my first proper comp win of £50. Hopefully it's the beginning of a lucky streak lol.

  • I enter around 1500 a month  I started in March and have done quite well. It was about a month before I started winning on a regular basis I think. Wins seem to come in bursts.

    Good luck with your entries

    Hi Folks<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Hope this of help to some of you new compers and hopefully it will give you the impetus to keep going no matter ever!<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
I’ve been comping for about ten years and have won too many prizes to mention here but run into dozens of A4 pages. I started off the beginning of this year with a ski holiday to Keystone <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Colorado</st1:State></st1:place> for two, roughly about £1500 worth. One good win a year puts you miles ahead of the game!<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
There is no magic formula to winning just persistence! Do all the comps that time and money allow you to do and you win! Remember you only lose when you give up!<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Over the years I have won more prizes where an Entry Form (EF) is required and in some cases they ask you to buy the product (qualifier) to enter. In general these comps give you a much higher percentage of winning as many EF’s that require a slogan that are nearly always read.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Think of five-thousand people entering a post card comp! Only one card is picked to win, would you back a horse on those odds? No is the answer.

The more popular the magazine the more entries are received, common sense! You' be suprised at the amount of silly mags feature competitons (Parrot Weekly, you name it!<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Join a local compers club; check every avenue that there may be comps, newspapers, magazine the list goes as there are thousand out there every week.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
I found this site that does EF so have a look at it. The site is nothing to do with me but I do use various site from time to time to get EF’s <o:p></o:p>

Many people will tell you many things and most apply but experience is hard to find.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
Good Luck and I hope this helps you win.

I enter as many comps as I have time to. I generally just keep up with the comps on here and that is enough for me, if I get others entered its a bonus! I must spend about an hour (or so!) per day on comps - its got soooo addictive!

I don't enter anything that I dont want to win myself or know that my family would really like. I can't be bothered entering to win stuff that I could sell. It really surprised me when I was called up about winning the New York Gwen Stefani comp because the girl said 'oh I am so pleased you can go and actually like Gwen, you wouldn't believe how many of these prizes are won by serial compers who never take up the prize'

Just realised I didn't actually answer the OP question! I enter around 15-20 a day on average
