Which link above? The text of my initial post and, as far as I can see, the page to which I provided a link both make clear that the offer also applies online.Spend £40+ in one transaction 20-26Oct and get a £5 voucher to spend on a £40+ order 27Oct-02Nov. In store or online. Up to 2 coupons per customer.

If you read my post correctly rather than rushing to be rude, you will see that I am talking about the link in your post! Like I said "IT TAKES ME TO THE HOMEPAGE WHERE THE OFFER ISN'T MENTIONED"
This has now changed and it now takes me to the offer page.
You yourself didn't make it clear as you did not state you worked for Tesco so your opinion was not enough to go on. As I stated, the link you gave provided no more clarification and indeed there was no mention on the site when I placed the order on Monday, so therefore I was asking for someone to clarify this for me. Someone already has done that so no need for you to pipe up and be rude. If you'd read what i'd put in the first place, you'd have understood exactly why I was asking a simple question. Seriously, some people!0 -
Every time they do this offer I simply split my shopping..I usually spend about £120 a week so when I get near forty pounds I simple ask the cashier to stop and I pay.Takes a few minuets but for £15 I don't mind.
I usually buy a gift card with the money and use them at Christmas....last year I had quite a bit saved doing this, saving with my club card and by using my club card vouchers for deals such as eating out (4 x value ) or buying gift sets at half price with vouchers when they double the value ( so £20 of gifts sets for £5 of vouchers).:T0 -
So that's £5 off a £80 spend then. Which is a bit rubbish considering Aldi is £5 off a £40 spend.
And how big a clothes dept do Aldi have? How big an entertainment dept (CDs DVDs etc.) do Aldi have? No I won't list the others ...
Moreover, you still get the 2 pence-per-litre for £50 spend (not at once)!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

And if they extend it, as they have done previously, it is £10 off £120, £15 of £160 or £20 of £200. Improving all the time but it will never quite match £5 off £40.The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
I do shop in Aldi weekly but have never come close to spending £40 in one go. Sainsbury's and Tesco no problem.
But I don't think this deal is all that great considering usually when I shop in Tesco they give me a voucher for £2 -£3 off next £20 shop, or £4 off NEXT £40 SHOP and I only had to spend an initial tenner or over to receive them. And this morning I received my quarterly club card coupons and vouchers pack and have got 1 £3 off £20 shop and 3 £2 off my next £20 shop. Now those are the deals from Tesco's I like.I may not be the brightest star in the sky but I still shine. Please be gentle

You buy clothing in supermarkets? You buy music and films in supermarkets? Strange. The sections exist so you people must exist. And how big a clothes dept do Aldi have? How big an entertainment dept (CDs DVDs etc.) do Aldi have? No I won't list the others ...

You buy clothing in supermarkets?
Yes certainly, it's there on display, look and like or not.
You buy music and films in supermarkets?
Again, of course - it's on display look and like or not, if it's a good buy -- it's a no brainer.
Strange. Really, seems stark starring obvious!!
The sections exist so you people must exist. OH YES!

No it's a thread on Tesco's £5.00 off next £40 shop - therefore anything that Tesco have in their store that can be used within that promotion is relevant.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
I was sent the £5 coupon offer and I didn't receive the coupon. I emailed them to complain and they apologised and sent a coupon through which needs to used online by next Sunday. What a load of rubbish. I've just had this week's shopping delivered and I don't need any more until next Tuesday so the coupon is no good to me. To make it worse one of the clementines they delivered was rotten and some of the others in the net don't look too good. The raspberries are just about edible if we eat them straight away. Buck up Tesco. No wonder your profits are going down the pan.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0
