Mortgage query

Hi, going to be applying for a mortgage in the next few months and worried about some things on my credit report. I have sometimes used my credit card for cash over the past few years. Haven't used it in the past year for this though. I have one late payment on a credit card in June 2012. I'm currently contesting this with RBS as i think it was down to the time they had technical problems. They have sent me £25 compensation after my complaint, I'm waiting on a response in a letter bow though so I can pass it into my credit card company and get my credit file updated.
I am looking at mortgages of £100k with 10% deposit, I earn £26k a year and have no outstanding debt.
What's my chances? Anything else I can do to improve my chances?
Thanks in advance for your help.

One late CC payment won't stop your getting a mortgage. If you have no other debt defaults/CCJs/missed payments then the only question is whether you can afford the mortgage payments. Use the online calculators to work out how much a bank might lend to you.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

Is it likely to have a huge impact on my mortgage application?
