I have left fuel in my mover over the winter, never had any problems TBH, the screw cap on my fuel tank has a small ventilation hole at the top and I put an old blanket over Mr Mower and tuck him in

To be honest ditto. My mower has never let me down but I think I need to care for it a bit better and follow some best practice procedure.0
