CRB Check for new place.

My OH has moved jobs from one Nursery to another.
Her new workplace has asked her to get a CRB check. Now she's stuck where to get it as her old employer did all this for her and getting it done herself is a new thing.

She also thinks there's a way to buy one and then it's only a small sum if she moved again.

Can anybody provide links or information that would help.

The post should require an enhanced check, this can't be arranged directly by the applicant, either the employer arranges it or an umbrella organisation conducts it.

Thank you for the replies. Is an umbrella company these online that offer the service? There's many isn't there.
