Cheapest spirits around for making cocktails

I've taken a bit of a liking to making cocktails and shocktails (a cocktail shot) but using the big brand names would be really quite expensive. I'd love it if you lovely lot could help me to find some of the cheapest spirits on the high street.

So far I've found some relatively cheap bits in Tesco

Peach Schnapps - £5.50
Coffee Liqueur - £6.60 (Tia Maria)
Coconut Rum - £5

I'm struggling with Vodka, I can't find anything below £10, I'd also like some cheap Triple Sec/Cointreau/Grand Marnier, Melon Liqueur, Butterscotch Schnapps and something vanilla based (like a vanilla vodka).

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've never looked in places like Lidl & Aldi as I never really bother with the booze aisle so if you've found some good, cheap alternatives to anything which would be useful for making cocktails please let me know :)

I am a great fan of Cointreau over ice, but find the generic "Deluxe Orange Liqueur" from Aldi just the ticket for cocktails.

In fact you have inspired me to knock up a Sunday evening tipple just now: one shot (25ml) of the aforesaid triple sec, 10ml of lemon juice, 200ml tonic and topped up with ice. The green stuff is some chopped jalapeño for an extra kick.

    Cheers

Eta: no idea why the pic isn't uploading, but after my a few sips of my concoction, neither do I much care :)

    Tesco's everyday value 70cl £10.00 Alc.37.5%
    Lidl vodka 70cl £7.89 Alc.37.5%
    Lidl vodka 70cl £9.79 Alc.40%
Aldi vodka 70cl £9.99 Alc. (not sure)

Mind you I'm not entirely sure if the price at Lidls is correct as they don't tell you on there website I know they used to sell it at that price, worth a look to check and see though.
I have never tasted any of them and I cant imagine there nice on there own but for cocktails I guess it could be ok.

You're right, they're all around £10/700ml. I am tempted to buy one, alongside a Kilner litre bottle and make my own limoncello.

I improved my early evening cocktail with the addition of 50ml of gin :D

Watch Adli for offers on litre bottles of vodka. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that it was selling 1 litre bottles of 'triple filtered' for less per ml than the cheap stuff with the plain packaging, It's always worth doing your sums on these offers - they sometimes have surprising results.

I don't drink it myself, but I'm told it's pretty good.
