Grievance at work - unsafe practices

I have just invoked an official grievance procedure at work,
in a nut shell my employer has been carryout bad production practices, not testing product fully before it goes to market,
I have not been given appropriate test, development products to work with,
we had a major mechanical failure at customers site other day, which could have caused serious injury. (I work in electrical section, not mechanical),
I had to develop new product without given the prototype to test on at factory.
even so, our company has sold and installed this first product in Europe,
(so in essence it has only been 'bench tested' not tested of a full working test machine, prototype product)
I have labelled this in my grievance as not been given a level playing field, not given the support and resources to carry out my job function effectively.
can anyone provide advice on similar grievance cases , citations ? references ? links ? have you been in similar situation ? legal jargon help
I did not want to go to this stage, but, I am sick and tired of management driving this business into oblivion, carrying out unsafe practices, procedures

Do you really want to continue Woking for a company that operates in a shoddy way like this?0

short answer = no
(I am trying to find another employer, but until I do, I am stuck with this lot. I cannot afford to just roll over and quit)0 -
Are you the production or QC manager?
Do you know better than they do?
Is QC and product liability part of your remit?0 -
i am senior design engineer, so think that ticks all your boxes.

If that is the case then refuse to sign off the job.
What do you wish to achieve?0 -
From a legislative perspective, there is a requirement under section 6 of the Health & Safety at Work act (in the UK) and The Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations (EU directive) to ensure machinery (new or old) is supplied in a safe condition within the EU/UK.
I'm sure your employer will be aware of these legal requirements - perhaps it might be time to remind them!0 -

I am back to work tomorrow, gut feel, think they will close ranks, do the typical stance 'we are the boss' , good old British management.
