Hi everyone!
I have lurked here a lot for several months and I have been so inspired by all your hard work and success that I'd like to join in too.
Thanks in particular to Alchemilla and SecretSavingSquirrel and all their regulars who have shared their ideas and achievements.
I've been very lucky in my MF pursuit with my OH that we are past the half-way mark in our efforts, helped by a couple of family windfalls in recent years and these have spurred us on to make regular overpayments for the last year or so. It also helps that our mortgage is flexible enough for us to do that without complications or excess fees.
It feels like we are on the last leg as we are planning on one final chunk to come, but I'd much rather achieve as much as possible to bring the MF date nearer if I can and reduce the interest we will pay overall.
Will pop by again soon to update progress!
ETA oops- forgot Tilly too!
