Internship advice: Minimum requirements

Hi,
I've been looking at internships for summer 2015, and some of them have a GCSE Minimum maths requirement of grade A. I didn't get a grade A in my maths GCSE..... but I did pass the Quantitative Methods for Economists module that was in first year...
Is it still worth applying?

always worth applying but dont set your expectations too high as there will probably be loads of applicants who meet the requirementsThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50

Totally agree, if they get a high number of applicants then usually the first shortlist will filter out any candidates who don't meet the entry requirements as the most fair method. Only if the internship was in a specialist field and attracted a low rate of applicants would they (probably) look at other factors such as the QM module.
If it is an easy application then send it off, but don't get too disheartened if rejectedMortgage = [STRIKE]£113,495 (May 2009)[/STRIKE] £67462.74 Jun 20190 -
How much do you want the internship? It also depends on the form and how much emphasis they place on the maths. It sounds like they want someone highly numerate so how can you convince them that you fit the bill?
