Hi all,
I was snapped driving through a poorly sign posted junction in London. They then sent a letter whilst I was on holiday. As a result my reply was a few days late. The council replied and correspondence continued. When it finally went to the adjudicator they stated That I had to pay as my reply had been late.
I thought that in legal correspondence if you reply and continue a correspondence chain you have accepted the delay without objection and it can no longer be held against you.
Can anyone confirm or deny this. Thanks a lot.
Johnny

London appears to be a law unto itself, I am no expert on this, but you could I suppose use that fact as an argument, only thing is I suspect you have now got to the end of the appeals process, so it could prove costly to take it any further.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
