Can anyone recommend any lenders for over 100% mortgages? We are interested in buying a property for £99,000 but would like a mortgage for £106,000 to cover fees etc and the penalty we are going to have to pay to be released from our current mortgage early. I earn £16,000 husband earns £18,000 plus we get £4,000 a year tax credits/child benefit, credit history is good but not perfect (husband had some missed payments a few years back)thanks

there are several, Northern Rock, Coventry, Birmingham Midshires, Alliance & Leicester and Mortgage Express are the main ones. Most require a very good credit score though.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.This signature is here as I follow MSE's Mortgage Adviser code of conduct.
