Debt letter to previous homeowner (non-urgent)

Hello!
This isn't an urgent info request, but I'm sure you knowledgeable folk will have the answer :-)
I accidentally opened a letter for the previous owner of our flat, and found that it was a debt recovery letter for fuel payments (~£360).The previous owner has moved abroad (prior to us purchasing the flat), and we moved fuel supplier (after much faff, but that's a whole other story).
So, what do we do? Do we advise the company that the previous owner has moved? Or do we just pass the letter on to a member of the family? Basically, I just want to make sure that the debt isn't linked to us via the property - although I'm *fairly* sure it's tied to the individual rather than the property... Advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just advise the company that they have moved. Keep an eye out for further similar letters and mark them 'Gone away' and repost them."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Thank you! Glad it's that simple :-)Roadkill Rebels December - £2.49
