    If you want to add further panels, I would keep it a separate installation to your existing, if you believe you can fit 2kw on the extension, it may be worth considering 2kw on the low 1 storey roof you have in that photo. Obviously it appears there is some shading but the cost of a few extra panels isn't usually too high..and obviously depends on the level of shading. Just run it on a separate string.

    So in theory you could have your existing 3kw install.

    A new install, with 4kwp, 2kw on 1 string, 2 kw on the other.
