    100% recommend a split array, you said someone is usually in during the day...itll give you more USABLE energy throughout the day, that extra free electricity in the AM and PM is worth a lot more to you I imagine than the extra couple of kwhs at 14.38p a pop...

    I would probably ditch the company who pushed for a single array. And no, you cannot run a split array on a single tracking inverter.

    Actually WPD give a 6 week timescale for approvals, if you've sorted yours within a fortnight then good for you, I've only gone on experience for my own install and for that of my parents
